Marcus is director of Way of Health. He is an experienced osteopath and exercise rehabilitation specialist.
Marcus' interest in health and wellbeing started while studying and teaching Tae Kwon Do, a Korean martial art and Olympic sport. He then went on to study yoga and ayurveda in the UK and India and qualify with the British Wheel of Yoga as a teacher. Reoccurring sports injuries led to personal experience of physical therapy treatment and later to studying shiatsu and remedial massage. About the same time he decided to leave a successful career with an international news agency to retrain as an osteopath and naturopath. Marcus qualified with a degree in osteopathy and diploma in naturopathy and as part of his training also completed a four year assistantship with Osteopath and Naturopathic Physician Dr Michael Burt. His post graduate study includes qualifications in cranial osteopathy, tui na, medical acupuncture and exercise rehabilitation.
He is the author of the acclaimed ‘Healthy Back Programme’; a pilates and yoga inspired, exercise routine for chronic back pain sufferers.
In addition to his clinical work Marcus also teaches osteopathy, runs health retreats and seminars and continues to develop his knowledge of physical medicine.
